Launch of Arts for India :

On April 26th 2011 Arts for India held two fundraising dinners at Londons Kensington Palace on October 14th and October 19th 2010. Art and design works by Danny Lane, Nick Hornby, Jim Dine, Gavin Turk, Jonathan Yeo and others representing the best of contemporary Indian art and graduates of Chelsea College were auctioned to raise funds.

The evening also saw many attendees signing up to take part in our exciting and rewarding Adopt an Artist mentoring programme as well as the launch of Satish Modis book on life and philanthropy, In Love With Death.

We have hosted a number of profile-raising events in London throughout the year - at Bonham's Auction House, Asia House and the home of the Chairman of the British Council. We will be hosting our annual UK reception on October 19th at the Prince's Drawing School, Kensington Palace.

Arts for India is launching in Switzerland on September 26th 2011 at the prestigious Museum Rietberg Zurich. Arts for India is keen to reach out to Swiss collectors and art connoisseurs and inform them of the valuable work we are supporting and the role they can play in nurturing the next generation of Indian artists as well as supporting cross cultural art and education exchange so benefiting all.
